Thin film coating applied generally using airless spray to provide up to 2 hour fire protection to structural steelwork. Available as a water based coating and also available as a solvent based product where early application is required during the construction process. High build coatings also available where thicker coatings are required for 90 minute and 2 hour fire protection as well as two pack epoxy coatings where a more durable finish is required.
Intumescent paint is applied over a compatible primer, usually pre applied at works, and can also be applied onto galvanised steelwork with suitable on site preparation.
A range of decorative finishes are available using top coats available in almost all RAL Colours.
