Octagon are committed to providing our clients with first class quality installations and workmanship whilst maintaining a first class health and safety record.

Our application of Intumescent coatings to steelwork and our fire stopping works are covered by the FIRAS third party accreditation scheme operated by Warrington Fire. Our workforce are FIRAS certified installers and have also completed the necessary NVQ modules for passive fire protection installation. In order to maintain our FIRAS accreditation, FIRAS carry out random inspections of our on site installations as well as an annual audit of our office systems and record keeping systems to ensure that all works are fully traceable from commencement of our works until completion and handover and beyond.

The health and safety of our workforce and all that come into contact with our site presence is extremely important and something that we of course take very seriously. All of our operatives have received extensive health and safety training and our supervisors have completed SSSTS and SMSTS training. Our health and safety, environmental and welfare systems and procedures are regularly reviewed and audited as members of the CHAS, SMAS & Constructionline Gold Schemes.
